World Travel Market, awards Dangote Industries for ‘Most Compelling Agency Story’ Commercial

Wold Travel Market(WTM), a travel and tourism organisation with presence in four continents has identified and awarded Dangote Industries Limited(DIL) as the business with the ‘Most Compelling Agency Story’ commercial.

The commercial, which is part of a ‘Touching Lives’ documentary aired weekly on CNN detailing the process of food metamorphosis from the farm as raw material to final process as food on the tables at home.

According to WTM the award for the ‘Most Compelling Agency Story’ award, requires good marketing and effective PR campaign and exceptional expertise to effectively execute campaigns with the right story to the right people.

 Group Chief for Branding and Corporate Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said the management was delighted at the award and it only showed that the company was living up to its billing as the most diversified conglomerate in Africa.

“Filmed and produced by CNN International Commercials (CNNIC) award-winning branded content studio Create, the campaign sought to promote Nigeria and the wider continent through the stories of real people, and focuses on the connections people have with each other, be it in their work and daily lives.

Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) is one of the Africa’s’ most diversified conglomerate with 39 years of business experience. It was recently adjudged the ‘Most Admired Brand’ in Africa.
